More than likely you are using several different website traffic and promotion strategies.  However, If you currently only have ONE free offer, you are missing out on a big chunk of possibilities.  When you have multiple free offers and promote them all, you can appeal to more of your market.

Let’s look at the following example.  If you are in the internet marketing niche, there’s a variety of topics in that niche.  If you have only one freebie about strategies to increase profits in your business you could have other freebies about:

  • Affiliate Marketing
  • Email Marketing
  • Social Media Marketing
  • List Building
  • Sales Funnels

The list could go on and on.

Set a goal to create a new freebie at least every other month.  Creating a new offer each month would be the best scenario.  Why should you focus on creating new offers?  It allows you to throw out a wider net and get more prospects on your lists.  Your autoresponder will then have several lists.

Below are some ideas for free offers and giveaways you can use:

  • Step-by-step checklist
  • Coupon / discount
  • Access to a limited part of your membership site
  • Free 30 minute consult with you
  • Infographic
  • Short video course
  • A monthly calendar that has daily instructions
  • Poll, quiz, or contest they can enter
  • Webinar access
  • Create some kind of software
  • Create some kind of WordPress plugin
  • Swipe file they can use
  • Templates
  • Cheatsheets
  • Templates
  • Toolkits

Maximizing Your Autoresponder

You now have numerous lists.  Some will be for your products, but a lot of them are also for your free offers.  You can send each list different messages, you can broadcast to ALL of your lists, or choose only the ones you want.  This depends on your goals and on the autoresponder you choose such as AWeber or GetResponse.

Deciding how you want to plan out your autoresponder messages depends on your strategy.  You may have heard those who swear by segmenting your lists.  I cant testify to its success because I don’t do that.  Instead, I simply make a free offer, advertise, collect those subscribers on my list and proceed through my messages.  Then about every other day I send out a broadcast message to ALL my lists.  Sometimes people may get a couple of emails from me a day (or more depending on how many lists they’re on), but because I’m always working on building these relationships and offering quality content, most don’t mind.  If anyone does they can unsubscribe and I don’t take it personally.

Take these tips and create a bigger area you can toss your net over to really expand your list building.
