Obtaining an email address list by giving incentives could be a missed opportunity to attract only the ideal client or customer.

When you actively repel freebie-seekers and give free strategy sessions only to the remaining ideal, your free sessions lost you about a thousand dollars in the time you invested.

Be stern about repelling the non-serious people which are lead generation strategies for your email address list. 

Don’t be afraid to utilize these lead generation methods and strategies.

Don’t be afraid to deliberately disqualify the wrong potential clients in your email address list.

When you target your incentive to a specific goal and layout specific conditions, you’ll attract only high-quality clients who will build your reputation. 

Finally, even your free giveaway may be missing an opportunity to make you money. 

You can easily monetize your giveaway by including a link to a paid product as an extra or alternative to accepting your incentive.

If you want to offer the paid product upfront, include the link and/or a little blurb right on your landing page.

Or you can tell people about it in your “Welcome email” after they’ve signed up to be in your email address list.
